Festive ornaments
Mama working all day again so yet another activity that Dad and children all enjoyed - pouring plaster into rubber moulds and seeing the festive statues appear a couple of hours later. This was another long task, waiting for the plaster to dry out ready for the painting. And what painting! Owen enjoyed this part the most and created two very realistically coloured snowmen:
Followed by a far more individualised Santa - Well if a certain drinks company can turn him from green to red then this boy can turn him to black:
Owen stuck to a more usual colourway with his red Santa and his green tree, whereas Heather painted a completely brown Robin which Owen helped to become more realistic with it's red breast:
Today we added a little knitted sugarmouse to our advent tree. It's very crowded now with only a few gaps left for the rest of the little ornaments. Those days are ticking down fast aren't they?
