December day 19

Christmas cards

Today we made Christmas cards. We don't usually do cards but we spotted some cardmaking kits when walking past a pound shop and the boys really wanted this to happen at some point. So I picked up two packs on my lunch break and they became the activity for today. They were a wonderful photo opportunity as both all three littlies were involved. Owen made his all by himself, whereas Cain stuck his 3d shapes on and then applied drops of glue to his cards and Heather finished off by adding the little glittery bits. Only thing is my camera battery went totally flat before I could get a picture so I used the one on my phone. I plugged the memory card into the laptop and realised that when the laptop got it's temporary fix the memory card reader was lost, grrr! So all I have to show of this activity is a quick photo I just took of the last two cards, the rest having been written and hidden in their envelopes.

Today we added a knitted gingerbread snowflake to the advent tree. Really should take a photo to show how full it's looking......
